Deadline for submitting bids for Port of Bar privatization extended

The deadline for submitting bids for the privatization of the Montenegrin Port of Bar has been extended by two months, Montenegrin media reported yesterday (January 23). New deadline has been set for April 1st 2010.
The initial deadline for submitting bids for buying the enterprises within the Port of Bar and for the 30-year concession was February 1. One of the companies that bought tender documents has officially asked the commission for the port’s privatization to extend the deadline.
Companies from Lebanon, United Arab Emirates and a company set up by the Serbian government have bought tender documentation.
