Budva to host conference on climate change

Budva will host the conference "Climate Change and Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean and South East Europe" between October 16-17.
The event is organized by the Ministry for Land and Environment Planning of Montenegro and the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea Protection.
The conference aims to assess the impacts of climate change as well as possible measures for their mitigation in the Mediterranean Region and South East Europe, especially in view of the Copenhagen meeting.
The conference will be opened by Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and Stefania Prestigiacomo Italian Minister for Environment - along with Branimir Gvozdenovic '- Minister of Planning, Land and Environment of Montenegro, Pedrag Nenezic' - Minister Tourism of Montenegro.
