Amanresorts to invest EUR 85m in Milocer and Kraljicina plaza

08.05.2009

During his official visit to Singapore, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic met with Adrian Zeka, Founder and Chairman of Aman Resorts.

Zeka announced that his company would invest EUR 85 million instead of planned EUR 40 million in the tourist complex Milocer and Kraljicina plaza. Commenting on the claims that Amanresorts is postponing the opening of the resorts, Zeka said that the quality of tourist project was more important than the time in which it would be finished.

During the two-day visit to Singapore, Dukanovic was firmly convinced by country’s officials and entrepreneurs that they were willing to invest in Montenegro.

December saw the completion of the first phase of the Amanresorts’ project in Montenegro with the opening of Villa Milocer, a former royal residence with stunning views over the bay to the island of Sveti Stefan.

When completed, Aman Sveti Stefan will feature Villa Milocer's six spacious suites, two one-bedroom Queen Marija Suites on the villa's grounds, and 47 guest rooms and suites on the island of Sveti Stefan.
