Croatian consortium to build highway in Montenegro

The Croatian consortium made up of three construction companies (Konstruktor, Tehnika and IGH) has won a tender for the construction of a EUR 2.94 billion highway in Montenegro between Bar and Boljare cities.
Among other bidders were Austrian Strabag, Greek Aktor and Israeli Construction and Housing.
Construction works are expected to begin within the next six months and finish in 2019. The 188 km highway will have 42 tunnels and 92 bridges and viaducts.
The Croatian consortium will have a 30-year-long concession to maintain the highway once it is finished.
