Salaries increased by 6.1 per cent

An average net salary in Montenegro amounted to EUR 470 in January, 6.1 per cent more than in last December.
Monstat announced that the lowest salaries were in the fishing sector, amounting to EUR 165, while the highest ones were in the financial mediation, amounting to EUR 888 on average.
“Given that the consumer prices dropped by 0.2 per cent since December, the actual net salaries in Montenegro saw a monthly growth of 6.3 per cent,” Monstat said in a press release.
Monstat released last week that the industrial production in Montenegro had decreased by 4.7 per cent.
The electricity, gas and water sector saw a 158.9 per cent growth, while mining and processing industry saw a decrease of 54 and 41 percent respectively.
