Moody confirms Montenegro’s BA3 rating

Moody's, the ratings agency which operates in the financial research and analysis sector for commercial and state business activities, has confirmed Montenegro’s BA3 ranking, as reported by the country's Ministry for Finance.
The rating agency noted in its report that the country is still in a phase of institutional development, and needs a number of reforms in order to reach European standards.
"The confirmation of the rating for Montenegro, despite the risks to which the whole region is susceptible, is further proof of the stability of the country's economic systems" said a statement by the agency.
